The Brooklyn Pattern Co., Franklin Dress is another good pattern to sew with the changing seasons – whether fall or spring.

It is one we like to use for the nieces to wear during the days of cooler mornings that warm to pleasant afternoons.

We’ve sewn a few other ones {seen HERE and HERE}

We sewed EA the Brooklyn Pattern Co., Franklin Dress in a size 6, with an additional 3″ added to the sleeve length and 3.5″ added to the hem length.

This dress has a generous fit through the chest, so EA merely needed some length on the sleeves and hem.

Shockingly, we probably added a little TOO MUCH to the hem length . . .

but, that means longer that she can wear it, right?!?!?

The girls have always liked this dress pattern so it is one we like to revisit time and time again.
