Moving on to another country in Epcot {feel free to read about our first country-specific garment sewn HERE},we chose to highlight Germany. . .
This time, we sewed a Made Every Day, First Day Dress.
While there were several options for this pattern, we opted to sew an a-line dress {size 5}.
Then, we once again used remnants of Liberty of London {Emma and Georgina, K} to place “guten tag” along the left side seam.
Once the wording was in place, we realized it didn’t draw as much attention to it as we would have wished.
So, we embroidered around the letters with red DMC to accentuate the wording more.
This additional stepped sufficed, and we were ready to travel to the third {and final} country of our Epcot sewing.
One which became our favorite of the three country-specific garments sewn!
And THAT niece is anxiously waiting to have her time on the screen as well . . .
{Let’s just say she was perplexed about being cropped out of these pictures!}
