Isn’t the Children’s Corner, Katina a sweet sundress for a warm, summer day?
We sewed CL a Katina Dress in a size 6. Well, we actually took a “shortcut” with this creation – having the dress constructed prior to smocking it.
There is always so much to sew . . . and so little time to sew!
The nieces are growing before our eyes, and we find ourselves unable to keep up with the supply and demand of sewing for them.
That, and keeping up with the many ideas floating around in our heads.
Speaking of ideas: Children’s Corner posted a video tutorial on how to sew the Katina with knit fabric.
We love this idea, and have cut a few out to try . . .

Beautiful child, and dress. Wonderful to see the eldest becoming a ‘tween’, and the baby growing up. Hope the industrious aunts are going well in these difficult times.
