Ever since we began sewing the Lou Bee Clothing, Bimaa Sweater, it has become a staple in the nieces’ winter wardrobes.
Last winter, we sewed EA two more Bimaas. . .
One was a made from a coral, textured fabric bought from Textile Fabric‘s yearly sale {75% off pre-cut yardage, as well as 40-50% off fabric and trims}.
We lucked up and purchased this from the 75% off area, and considered it a “steal of a deal!”
The second Bimaa was sewn using “ugly Christmas sweater” knit fabric. Sweet Dana, of Made Everyday, had sent this fabric to us years ago . . .and this seemed like a fun way to use such a unique fabric.
It definitely leaves an impression.
Our niece LOVED it! She squeezed out another winter season of wear . . .barely . . . her long arms almost were too much for it.
Both sweaters were sewn as a size 8, with no modifications.
