We had to go back to a “crowd favorite” from a previous year!!
Our sister seldom voices opinions with sewing, but after sewing the Oliver + S, Carousel Dress a previous year, Sister Momma requested this pattern be put in our “sewing queue” for another season.
This pattern has quite the wearability.
It can start off as a dress . . . then, it can be worn as a tunic!
And, it spans a variety of seasons and weather!!
It’s comfortable.
It’s cute.
And, it’s just plain fun!!
We sewed EA a size 7, with no modifications.
We did, however, turn the corduroy wale in the opposite direction on the cuffs and pockets to show texture variation.
Looks like it might make another year as a tunic, so we will count it as a SCORE and WIN for the sewing aunts!!
I love the tiny bit of floral trim on the pockets!
You can’t beat a little pop of Liberty :)!
