Hi all! Wow . . . it has been a while, hasn’t it?!?!  Sorry about that.

Fortunately, our sweet blogging friends over at Simple Simon gave us a nudge, and a little project with a deadline to share with you.

LiZ and Elizabeth have just released the Simple Leggings pattern for girls, size 2T – 14, and are having a giveaway to celebrate its release. The pattern is available in both PDF and paper version.

They asked if we’d like to sew up a pair and share, and we thought – “Why not?”

Since knit sewing isn’t our strongest suit, we were thankful that the sewing process lived up to the pattern name: Simple Leggings!

CL’s measurements were in the size 5 range, but after sewing the leggings – they appeared to fit more like soft, comfortable knit pants . . .{ and if you look closely,  you can see the “rolled up waist” in the photo below}.

But SOMEONE isn’t complaining!! AT. ALL.

She was over the moon with her new attire.

And for that, we are thankful – because it looks like she will be wearing them for a while!
