And, if you haven’t seen enough of the Oliver + S, Playtime Tunic and Leggings yet, here is the 3rd {and EA’s final} installment for the season. This time . . . the tunic was done in our tried and true: woven.
The leggings, however, were sewn in a denim jegging material.
Oh so comfortable, and oh so practical for EA’s wardrobe!!
All of the fabric used in this creation was from our “stash”.
But, the butterfly and piping fabric was a steal of a deal – $3 a yard! Yet, another WIN-WIN on our never-ending {or so it seems} “Project: Destash!”
And, the minty buttons came from our stash as well! SCORE!
We {once again} sewed a size 6 in both the tunic and leggings.
We added 1.5″ to the tunic’s hemline, as well as .5″ to the sleeve length.
We also added 1″ to the leggings for our lanky niece . . .
EA had fun with this creation – and was quite occupied in picking out her favorite butterflies on the tunic.
Then, she gave a stirring, oral dissertation on the benefits of wearing a ribbon as opposed to a bow. Point taken . . .
Now to plan a little shopping trip for ribbons . . .
Adorable, as always! Of course, I love the butterfly fabric!
Of course you do :)!! A perfect nod to your blog . . .
I love that fabric! I think this one is my favorite yet.
That’s interesting! I’m not sure which one “won out” for us . . .
