“Stop, collaborate, and listen . . . “
You can’t go wrong with a good pair of pants!
Are we right?!?!
In that case . . .let’s make it an even TWO PAIRS of pants for this girl!
Again, as an ongoing “destash project”, we used some fabric on hand.
The hexagons were a part of our Project Run and Play prize package, and the paisley was selected by “Sister Momma” YEARS AGO.
And when we reminded her of that fact, she said – “Really?!?!?” It’s been a while, folks!
We sewed the Create Kids Couture, Clarissa’s Belted Pants , omitting the belt {and belt loops} for the paisley pair.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough fabric to do the same hem style on the hexagon pair.
Instead, we opted for a ruffle – one that wasn’t as wide as we would have liked, but it was all the fabric we had to work with . . .
Both pants were sewn as a size 6, with no additional length, and seem to be extremely comfy . . .and roomy . . . with plenty of growing room in each.
We have a few more “stash busts” to share with you as we become “elbow deep” in Easter sewing, aka: a NON-stash project. The verdict is still out if we will succeed in completing THREE Easter dresses BEFORE Easter!!
Hi
Hi ladies! It has been a long while since I have posted anything but Project Run and Play has enticed me back. These pants are so cute and look so comfortable to wear! I can’t wait to see the Easter Dresses. I have no that all will be finished in time.
Well, we finished two of the three dresses!! The youngest one’s had to be culled . . .so we could finish the oldest one’s. Thank goodness for “handmade me downs”! Hopefully, it will be completed soon, though . . .we’re trying to be inspired, and she keeps asking us how it is coming along.
