Destash or BUST!
This time, we sewed an Oliver + S, Hopscotch Skirt. . .
We sewed a size 5, with size 6 length {adding 3/4″}.
The best thing about this skirt?
According to EA: it can be worn with just about any shirt!!
Or bow, for that matter!!
According to the aunts {besides the versatility – as EA noted, and we concurred}: the POCKETS!
Such a cute design element on this pattern . . .
For the pockets {and front placket area}, we turned the stripes perpendicular {running horizontally} to the main skirt’s stripes.
She has some growing room, so this wardrobe addition just might last her through next fall. Here’s hoping!!

It is a great skirt indeed! Love how you played with the direction of the stripes. This skirt has been on my to sew list for ages! Gotta make it asap! Coz… pockets!
