Our creations from THE BIN are quickly coming to an end.
The girls are growing too fast, and our past sewing creations are waning.
Still, there are a few left to be seen – including this one: a Children’s Corner, smocked Mary De.
Sister Momma actually smocked this dress many, many years ago.
It was during the time we were smocking, but not constructing.
So, once the smocking was complete, we sent it off to be sewn.
EA was delighted to be wearing something her mom had smocked!
Thankfully, it gives her another dress to wear while we try, try, try to keep up with this growing girl!
You guys….I can’t believe that gorgeous dress was sitting in a bit! So glad you pulled it out and sewed it up – it’s gorgeous!
Better than that – no sewing necessary!! It was D.O.N.E. and ready to be worn!!
Oh that’s pretty! I love the texture of the smocking. I wouldn’t have recognized this dress as being made from the Mary De pattern based on the line drawings- it’s nice to see a photo of it sewn up!
Thanks Charity!! The pattern makes a sweet little sundress . . . and layers nicely with a shirt under it.
