We couldn’t leave LG out of our “swimwear endeavor”, so we sewed her one as well.
She MIGHT POSSIBLY have been the most impatient “customer” we’ve ever sewn for!
We sewed LG the Cosi Swimsuit, view D {sz: 18 mo}.
The pattern instructions encourage you to check the fit of the suit on the child prior to sewing the elastic {leg and chest} and straps.
So we did.
MISTAKE.
She proceeded to cry when we took it off.
Then, she fussed, pointed, etc. trying to get it back. There was no convincing her that it wasn’t done!
We even gave her some of the extra fabric to appease her.
No such luck!
All that’s to say: We’ve created a monster . . .
A swimsuit monster . .
A lovable, hard-to-resist {or refuse} swimsuit monster!

Oh my how sweet – I have an impatient girly too so I feel your pain. I just ordered the Cosi pattern and fingers crossed will get started on a suit soon!
TERRIFIC!! It’s a good pattern with a LOAD of possibilities . . .
She is just adorable! I’ve made the mistake of testing the fit of an unfinished garment on a child before too… it just doesn’t end well! 😉
And now, everything we are in the process of sewing “is going to be a swimsuit” according to LG . . .
