We mixed it up a bit with CL’s coat . . .

Sewing her the Straight Grain, Berlin Coat in a size 8.

Although it might have been easier to sew three coats using the same pattern {others can be viewed HERE and HERE}, we thought this might be a good opportunity to sew another coat pattern in our collection.

Once again, the Textile Fabrics 75% remnant sale came in handy! We bought the outer fabric at a fraction of the cost . . . and wow, oh wow, is it ever soft!!

We lined the coat with the Liberty print, Le Temps, and piped the tabs and faux pockets in cyan.

Buttons were purchased through Farmhouse Fabrics – two different sizes, but in the same style.

We added extra warmth to this coat, by sewing the optional batting.

And, the additional hood was an added bonus for this niece!

The finishing touches of this coat are so sweet!

We love the lines of this pattern, and the various options make it easy to mix up the look of garment.

Enough about this season’s coats . . .

How about some more “Sewing for Disney” and past Easter creations?!?!
