So, we sewed a size 8. . . .
Of a Children’s Corner, Louise.
We admit, we are spoiled.
Children’s Corner patterns do that to you.
And, when you are spoiled, you sometimes cut corners and take shortcuts.
Time and time again, Children’s Corner patterns fit our nieces SPOT. ON.
If any adjustments have to be made, it is in the arm length and/or hem length.
But, those adjustments are few and far between.
So, we didn’t bother to look at the measurements on the back of the pattern.
We just KNEW that EA would wear a size 8.
And, she will . . . .
Eventually . . .
Note to selves: the Louise seems to run on the larger side of Children’s Corner patterns. Nothing we will lose sleep over – whenever we sew for EA, it is a win-win situation {THANKFULLY}.
If a garment is too big, she will grow into it . . .
If it is too small, she has two younger sisters that will take it off her hands.
