Every time we post about our youngest niece, it seems she needs an introduction.

Meet LG – a rarity on our blog.

The niece that is hard to sew for due to two main reasons:

1} She has plenty of clothes to choose from . . .from her sisters’ outgrown clothes.

2} She LOVES receiving the outgrown clothes, and eyes them longingly prior to having them in her closet.

She’s spunky, funny, extremely giving, and very opinionated.

Speaking of rarity, the Children’s Corner, Pleats II {Candace} is one of the rarest of the Children’s Corner patterns.

We were fortunate enough to secure one, and were THRILLED to sew it for our youngest niece.

She had a say in the fabric, and constantly asked about the garment’s progress.

Then . . . we gave it to her.

She liked it . . . INITIALLY.

Then . . . not so much.

UGH! Good thing she’s cute!!

She will not derail our love for this pattern.

And, in time, we might convince her to love it as much as we do.
