I love your version of the C. C. Lillian! In fact, I think that you have improved on this pattern tremendously. The straight and slim styling of the original always seemed to be quite restrictive to me for active little girls. The length is very ‘in’ now. A charming dress!

I really like this modification! Did you make a change to the back of the Lillian? How did you finish the seams since there is no lining? Thanks.
We didn’t line the dress, as the original pattern suggested. Instead, we added a placket along the back, bias band around the neck, and hemmed the dress.
