The dress is beautiful! Love the embroidery and the concept behind it.
Thanks Olga!!
Just WOW! You guys always incorporate the most amazing details into each of your projects!
Thanks Toni…. As excited as we were to complete this project, we were tickled with the thought process behind it!
Look at that long neck! She’s growing so fast.
Isn’t that the truth???
Left a message on the host site. The dress is amazing!
Thanks Karen!! French knots WILL resurface…just taking some time off from them.
First, yes I did know that emerald is the stone for May…it’s my birth month after all and green is my favorite color. Second, did you keep track of how many french knots it took to make those circles? I would call you and uber expert by now. Third, the opossum hunt had me laughing, because you see when we drove down to Florence AL to see a friend a couple of weeks ago, I had my husband stop so I could take a picture of “Fried Possum” outside of a restaurant.
No French knot count and amount….it would be a scary number, I’m sure! Expert? Hardly! Don’t look too closely. Nothing says welcome to the south like an opossum, huh? We do have one nearby -there’s been some family sightings of it. Of course EA keeps calling the varmint a chipmunk….
This dress is just beautiful!! I love the color and the French knot detail and the bias trim on the color and bodice…okay I just love it all!
Thanks Meghan!!!
The dress is gorgeous! How long did it take to sew all those french knots?
You don’t want to know :)! See why there wasn’t much to show during kcw week?!?!
This is darling! Love the embroidery, but I can understand needing a break after that many French knots. =)
