Once we landed on the “Pinwheel Top” version of the Oliver + S, Pinwheel Tunic and Slip Dress, there was no turning back!
EA is not required to wear a uniform to school.
However, these outfits were worn so much last school year, they might be considered a uniform, of sorts, for her!!
Again, we paired the Oliver + S, Pinwheel {modified to a top} with the Oliver + S, Picnic Shorts.
As EA is getting older, she is becoming more opinionated about her wardrobe.
We tend to sew her favorites over and over and over again . . .
And, we applaud her for some of her pattern selections!
They are ones we enjoy sewing, and many are “quick sews.”
So, when you see different versions of the same pattern time and time again on our site . . .
Just know a young, valued customer spoke . . . and we listened!!
EA has very good taste, indeed! Each outfit looks adorable on her and she looks very happy to be wearing her auntie-mades.
These are soooo cute! Was there any trick to modifying the top hemline so that it is straight across and omits the flounce?
Not really any tricks to share. We decided on a side seam length, and just went with it . . . keeping it above the “front point” of the flounce.
The tops are SUPER easy – don’t require much time or fabric. Be careful . . .sewing these could become addictive!
