“Sewing Repeat”: Another Oliver + S, Playtime Tunic and Leggings for CL.
We, once again, sewed a size 4, with an additional 1.5″ to the length of the fleece lined leggings.
Art Gallery Knits are AMAZING!!! Absolutely amazing!!
We don’t sew with knits very often, but the quality of knit they produce is terrific . . . .
The feel, weight, and stability of the fabric makes sewing knit much, much, much more enjoyable.
And, their available, cute prints don’t hurt a bit either!! Although, this too was a “stash bust”.
This is our 2nd time to sew with Art Gallery knits – both purchased during our trip to the Children’s Corner Store. The great news is: we have a few more AGF knits in our “stash” . . . currently being saved for the next “special occasion / stash busting” round.
As for the outfit? The touches of pink, on the top-stitching and buttons, really tie it all together! Don’t you think?
And for those still wondering, what WAS CL’s next “princess move”?? Again, with our asking – “What are you doing?”
“This is the way princesses stand.”
Alrighty then, Princess Leia . . .
Tough princesses have blasters and cross their arms like so.
This “Princess” should know . . .
What a darling top! It looks so cozy and is perfect for CL’s coloring. She is a beautiful child. She is growing up so fast!
Yes, she is growing up TOO, TOO FAST!!
I love her spunk! That fabric is really pretty… I finally bought some Art Gallery knit this year, and it is very nice, but so far I’m not sure what I want to do with it!
It’s hard to decide, isn’t it?!?!? We are hanging on to some as well . . .
