I’m in the same situation….I have a lot of 1 yard cuts….and now the girl has grown…definitely need to buy minimum 1 3/4 yards if I’m just feeding the stash with no plan.

What a gorgeous outfit! I too find sewing for cooler months not as exciting. Mainly because usually the things I make are covered by jumpers and cardigans.
