Brooklyn Pattern Co., Franklin Dress {WINNERS ANNOUNCED}

It’s hard to believe another season has passed! “Flip this Pattern: Spring 2015” has come and gone….

Such beauty….from the creations, to the lovely photographs, and then….the stunning children modeling the Brooklyn Pattern Co., Franklin Dress!

The guest contributors {Kerry, Kim, Olga, and Jo} and the fantastic sew-along creations whet our sewing appetites for the endless possibilities for sewing the Franklin Dress.

Wow, at the inspiration popping up all over the blogging community!!

As for the winners??!?! The sew-along ladies didn’t make it easy for the judges.

We asked our panel of judges to judge these entries based on the following factors:

Creativity / Originality of Design

Quality of the garment sewn

Wearability

Overall appeal of the outfit

After the judges scores were tallied, the sew-along winner was …
Angie, of Edith and Eloise, with her Gathered Bodice Franklin Dress.

The judges stated:

* I’m in love with the added collar! Your fabric choices are beautiful!

* I adore the sweet gather at the neckline that pulls the bodice into an inverted heart shape.  Great summer dress!

* SO CUTE!!!  I love all the twirly goodness, the added collar, the band at the bottom, and the fabrics!  the voile choice was a good one – it looks like such a light springtime dress.  The gray and coral are one of my favorite color combos right now.  Great pictures too.  Very nice job on the flip!

* I LOVE this flip! The construction is top notch, the pattern altering is incredible and I love the gathered bodice in place of the pintucks. Not to mention the super gorgeous fabric!

Congratulations, Angie!! Grab your button, and display it proudly on your site!!

You will be receiving the sew-along prize package in the upcoming days….
