Yep. Pockets are the best!!!
I was just wondering how you found such perfect co-ordinating fabric for the collar and cuffs, and then realised it’s Frances/Suzanne of course it’s hand stitched! Beautiful touch and I love this dress pattern, especially in a simple geometric print like this. The pocket was the selling point for my daughter too. So glad your niece likes her School Photo dress.
HA HA!!! What can we say???? We are gluttons for punishment :)… Thankful she was receptive to the finished garment!
The center panel on the bias is fun. Love this pattern, just wished my girl loved it as much as I did, sigh.
Ohhhh, that stinks! YES!! We were THRILLED that EA liked it as much as she did…
Get used to the surprises:) Just when I think I have my girls figured out..they choose the exact opposite!Sorry you were sick, but I’ve loved seeing all your new creations!
That’s quite a stunning dress and EA looks so beautiful in it!
I must confess I didn’t have much expectations for this pattern as well, when I first sew it, but my girl loved it as soon as she put it on (again, I’m sure the pockets may have something to do with it) and now there’s always at least one version in her closet. It’s a favorite 😉
YEA!!! So glad you had such a warm reception to the School Photo!! **And, yes the pockets were the selling point.
love love love this dress!! I can tell why she likes it, just gorgeous!!
This dress was a huge hit in our house too due to that fabulous pocket.
This is so lovely, well done.
Thanks, Nicole!!
Love the center panel and the stitching!!
Thanks! The biased center panel was “just enough” for us :)!
Oh, I love this dress so much! Beautiful, especially the hand-stitched pops.
