Oh An, I LOVE this! It looks so perfect and snuggly and the princess seams are a great idea. I know exactly where you’re coming from with the facings. I soon as I sewed mine I wish I’d added facings along the sides and bottoms. The colours suit Norah so well. And, yes, you SHOULD get a prize for all those buttons – thought I was going to pull my hair out just doing four! x
Ha ha, we should start some button-sewing-support-group 😉 Thank you for writing such sweet things about my flip! xo
Just beautiful! You added just the right details. The seams, the pockets, the buttons, the piping, the belt in back… I love every part of it!
This coat is absolutely stunning!!!!! I love all the special touches you added and that fabric is amazing!
Thanks so much, Angie! This contest is so inspiring, isn’t it?
Wow, An, you outdid yourself! I absolutely love this! Norah looks so sophisticated in her jacket! And her matching scarf is perfection!
Aaaw, thanks dear Rachel! I was kind of hoping you’d like it, as you love mint + mustard too 😉 xo
I love the fabric choices and the detail! Looks awesome!
Thanks Chelsey
So well made!
Thank you so much!
You had us at princess seams and piping!! Just LOVELY!!
That is the perfect coat An! Perfect! I love that herringbone fabric so much… The princess seams were genius! Adding the pockets and the facings was brilliant! And I really love that piping and the wooden buttons. 10 of them? You like to torture yourself…
