Flip this Pattern: Fall 2014, September Showcase

YAHOO!!! We are so excited to kick off “Flip this Pattern: Fall 2014″ with a special twist!!

This entire month is dedicated to “Rising Indie Designers” AND you!!

We wanted to use our site this month in a variety of ways: as a means to showcase some awesome patterns, by some awesome designers….sewn by some awesome guest bloggers….and the opportunity for you to showcase your creations as well throughout the month.

Ten patterns were selected – spanning ALL seasons! Discounts and prizes were secured…and guest bloggers jumped on board.

So, we’ll be veering from our typical “Flip this Pattern” format for a “September Showcase!”

So….what can I expect to see during the “September Showcase?”

Beginning Monday, ONE PATTERN will be highlighted….by three – four amazing guests! No competition. Just a “show and share” of sorts….getting the word out about some pretty amazing patterns by Rising Indie Designers. You will see a combination of FLIPPED and UNFLIPPED versions of the showcased patterns, as well as featured designers showcasing one another’s patterns throughout the series. How cool is that?

This format will continue for a SOLID TWO WEEKS, Monday – Friday!! Translation: DAILY INSPIRATION and SEWING GOODNESS showcased, using one of the 10 patterns seen below.

How can I be involved in the “September Showcase?”

A sew-along linky party will be opened TOMORROW for YOU to share any creation sewn using a pattern from a “Rising Indie Designer” {designers with 5 children’s patterns or less}.

No competition. Just a “show and share” of sorts…. We hope this party is the largest one yet!! AND, one that has a LOT of communication between contributors in the process!

PLEASE NOTE: Your creation DOES NOT have to be from one of the ten featured designers!! Do you have any idea how many “Rising Indie Designers” there are??? We didn’t either until we started pulling this month together!! There’s some pretty amazing designers out there….that would love to have you showcase their pattern in a linky party! So, go on!! SHARE!

Oh, and since we don’t want to “sit on the sidelines,” we will “kick off” the series on Friday….using a “premiere edition” {ie: FIRST pattern ever} of a dear friend!

But, what’s in it for me??

Well, lucky you!! The TEN FEATURED DESIGNERS have a treat for you….discount codes for their shops, giving you the opportunity to support these incredibly talented ladies, as well as grab some fantastic patterns in the process! ALL discount codes will run through September 19th.

These are looking so awesome! I love the flip ideas from your site! I’ve already purchased a few patterns, and have been sewing up a storm!

Has anyone had success applying the discount code for the Sewlosophy patterns? I can’t seem to find a place to put in the code…

YEA….so glad you are enjoying yourself!! And, yes – the discount to Sewlosophy works! It is on the the 2nd page, as you begin to finalize your order….. I think. I know it is further along in the checkout process than you think it might be….but it IS there!
