After a brief intermission from Everyone Deserves a Puppet Show {act 1}, CL is here to finish the performance with “act 2.”
We bought CL’s fabric as well on our 2nd annual fabric shopping trip t0 TJ’s Fabrics…. 1.5 years ago.
We sewed her an 18M tunic and shorts – with no alterations / modifications {other than our typical piping additions}.
Except for that extra button on the back placket….OOPS! We got a little carried away and sewed the “dress version” back placket…NO HARM DONE….
Like big sister’s Puppet Show, this one has some “growing room!” Which we view as FANTASTIC NEWS!!
To say we were pleased with this combination, would be an understatement.
The navy accents on the green fabric ended up being very striking…more so than what we initially thought.
Then, CL’s “modeling” was turned up a notch.
Can we say, “ready for the runway??”
What’s not to love about those pockets, right???
Oh yes, we had a very pleased little niece…
Silly, but pleased!!
The navy piping is indeed a striking contrast and makes the whole outfit pop.
Too cute! Would you believe that I’ve never made this tunic? I’ve made a few pairs of shorts, but no top. I’m going to have to after seeing these shots.
Oh man….you’ve GOT to make the tunic! You won’t be disappointed :). The shorts pattern is, of course, awesome….but that Peter Pan collar gets us every time!
OOOOH, so hard to choose a favorite! But I think it’s this one!
I love the green and navy together! Of course, I love navy almost anywhere, but this is just darling on your little runway model. =)
I love this colours and the navy piping is brillant addition, it makes the garment stand out!
Someone is very happy to be posing for the camera! I love green adn blue together…such a classic combo. The piping is the perfect detail to make the outfit even more adorable!
