February “Flip this Pattern”: WINNERS ANNOUNCED

What another fun month in the “Flip this Pattern” series!!!
Three fantastic guest contributors {Terra, RaeAnna, and Veronica} and several sew-along creations whet our appetites for the endless possibilities for sewing the Violette Field Threads, Josephine Dress.

Wow, at the inspiration popping up all over the blogging community!!

As for the other winners?!?! Participating bloggers in the sew-along entries didn’t make it easy for the judges!!

We asked our panel of judges to judge these entries based on the following factors:
Creativity / Originality of Design
Quality of the garment sewn
Wearability
Overall appeal of the outfit
*Many participants included tutorials for their “flip,” but again – this wasn’t a prerequisite for entering. VERY HELPFUL {and generous of them}, but not a necessity!
The sew-along winner was Angie of Edith and Eloise with her entry, A Josephine for Easter.

The judges stated:
*Great fabric, and great details.
I like that it’s a flip, but still has details of the original.

*The contrast skirt and sash added to the blouse make for one sweet dress!

*It’s such a fun spring look. I’m a major fan of tastefully mixing printed fabrics
so I couldn’t help but love it.

*The dress silhouette is so pretty.
It’s genius how you did the waistline and added a smooth sash on top.
