Miss CL is such a little sweetie! Contrast pocket flaps work perfectly. Nicely done!
I really love this in the wool. Very high end and classic.
I could also see this in a gorgeous deep navy wool or tweed equally as beautiful. With those little puff sleeves? Eeep!
Can’t wait to see what you think might be you after all. I havent ever sewn and O&S but I’m thinking it’s time…
Ooooh, I’m liking your idea of navy!! Yes, yes, yes….you should definitely sew an O+S pattern. You won’t be disappointed. But how to choose :)….
The Music Box was my first non free O+S pattern that I sewed.
My guess is that your next O+S is the School Photo dress. Did I guess right?
Why yes…..yes it is!! It didn’t appeal to us at all initially, and now it’s toward the top of our ‘must sew’ list….Isn’t it funny how styles emerge as one sews??
Stellar work once again! I love it simplicity and classic lines.
So cute! I love the fabric!! Nice job ladies! Can’t wait for next week to see your PR&P ideas!
Thanks Chelsea!! PR&P: we can’t believe it is really, really upon us…..Excited to share!
I suppose it would be rude to always comment with what pops into my head every time I open up a new post from you but “SHUT UP!!!!” isn’t exactly appropriate.
This is precious and I am always a fan of the classic children’s styles.
Beautiful!
Thanks for the compliment….we’ll take it :)!
I appreciate all the hard work that jumper took to create…plaid matching looks perfect! Classically cute too. I often wonder as I create, did I make it long enough or did I hem it too short even though I ask for the measurements before I cut out & sew?

We were literally going cross-eyed over this fabric…..the plaid was so muted, it was hard to ‘see’ it {but, man, did it ever show up on pictures…so thanks for noticing}!! Better long than short, right??
This is a lovely one! View B looks so cute in wool. You know the View A with a bit of piping around the bodice/skirt hem really is your style too! Let me think… An Oliver + S pattern that I can’t imagine you sewing…. hmmm. Book report?
Great guess, but not the book report {although we haven’t sewn that one either}!! Yes, view A with piping would definitely fit our mold as well…
Its gorgeous! So so pretty!
Isn’t it funny, how that goes?;) The jumper is lovely and looks great in wool.
This is really pretty! I love the wool you chose. The whole jumper is even cuter with the puff-sleeved shirt underneath.
And that little girl… she’s just darling. =)
Thanks, Charity! And yes….she’s a keeper :)!
I love this pattern! It’s so classic – I was in love with it as soon as it was released (I’m always looking for timeless pieces). Such a basic pattern, perfect for building a girl wardrobe.
Love your wool version and the contrasting pockets
