November “Flip this Pattern”: VOTING

What a month!!! Sewing inspiration at its finest, if we do say so ourselves!!
The month’s challenge?? “Flip this Pattern” using the Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop, Hangout Hoodie  and create a look that was interesting, unique, and inspiring.

While the three contestants all brought their own interpretation of how to flip this pattern to the competition, the sew-along group offered some amazing entries as well. They were, of course, playing for a pretty awesome prize package.

There was literally something for everyone in the sew-along group: costumes, zippers, various combinations of fabric, and repurposed sewing. As an added bonus, many of these creations included detailed tutorials of how their “flip” was created. Take a moment to visit some of these pages, and give the “ladies behind the scenes” some virtual praise for their accomplishments!

As for the three contestants’ “FLIPS”….you’ve seen them already, but here they are again…in the order of their “Flipped Appearance.”

As for the competitor winner? That is entirely up to you! Remember, there is a fabulous prize package on the line….waiting to be claimed….and it is ALL based on popular vote!!

Voting will remain open until Sunday, November 24 at 11:00 PM CST. One vote per person during that time frame, and ongoing results will be hidden from the public. We felt that this kept with the purpose of this series – building one another up through sewing inspiration instead of becoming a cut-throat sewing competition of sorts.

Winners, for both the guest contributors and sew-along participants, will be announced Tuesday! *And, yes….”Father’s Fantastic Five” will also be revealed at that time….

May I just say that I love the feel of this competition. Keeping the poll results hidden makes me feel better about voting. Also I was totally stressing over getting my entry in and it just wasn’t something to stress over. It is supposed to be fun and it makes me feel so positive! Love it. :)

Absolutely NOT worth the stress!! We find ourselves more often than not running a bit behind, and are attempting to take that stress off as well {hence our October ‘flip’ being showcased mid-November}…. Thanks for the feedback on our voting system. It’s nice to hear what you think…

It’s so hard to pick, they all did a great job. Each with their own take! I agree with keeping the polls closed, seeing the percentages can’t sway voters either that way. :)

Didn’t they, though??? Votes: we’ve been swayed before on open polls, so that is why we chose to go this route! Thanks for your feedback….
