“Flip this Pattern” with Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop {with a giveaway AND discount code}

November’s pattern company is one of those companies that will not leave you wanting when you go visit the store. Wow, at the pattern possibilities – AND it is ever-growing. We really don’t know how the founder, Amy, does what she does….and manages to do it with excellence!
So what’s our story about Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop??

As we began sewing and blogging about our creations, we began looking for places to share our creations. ENTER: Amy, of Nap Time Crafters….providing an excellent source for just this – sharing creations on a weekly linky party. PERFECT! We began entering links as we had items to share, and for lack of a better phrase: we were hooked!

Then, we realized Amy also was the founder of a pattern company, Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop, that had a wealth of sewing patterns to choose from. There was literally something there for everyone!

So, of course, we had to include such a site in our year-long “Flip this Pattern” series. The hard part? Deciding which pattern to choose, of course!

After deliberation, we selected the Hangout Hoodie
for November’s choice in the “Flip this Pattern” series. Why??
 1. It is gender neutral.
2. It is sewn with knits.
3. It is a good fall / winter pattern.
4. It has a great range of sizes: 6 months – 10 yr
5. It is an excellent ‘blank slate’ for our creative sewing visionaries…

For the month of November, we are asking our readers to “FLIP” the Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop, Hangout Hoodie.

Fortunately for you, Amy has just completed a sew-along with her readers using this pattern! If you want to read more about sewing tips, tricks, or techniques, you might want to visit here.

**Remember: any FLIPPED Hangout Hoodie sewn in the past six months
will be eligible for the sew-along competition beginning next week!

In the meantime, Amy is offering a giveway to kick this month off!  You will find a rafflecopter below with several different ways to enter to win. Who can refuse the opportunity to win a 5-pack of patterns from Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop!?!?! Giveaway ends on Saturday, November 2 at 11:00 PM CST.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Not to mention, for the next week {now through Wednesday, November 6}, Amy is offering the Hangout Hoodie for a discounted price of $5 {code: hoodie5}. Seriously?? We know you can’t refuse a deal as good as that!! Go and purchase yours today….the sew-along opens up next week!! Are you ready to be inspired?!?!We’ve not sewn the Hangout Hoodie yet, but hope to do so before the month is over. In fact, when we selected this pattern, we had never sewn with knits. Fortunately, that has changed and we are hoping to overcome another knit challenge this month by flipping the Hangout Hoodie….

Who are the contributors for this fantastic month of flips? Come back next Tuesday for their introductions!!

And, if you need a little help in getting those creative juices going, you might want to visit the “Flip this Pattern” Pinterest Board as you look for inspiration to strike. *Please note: if you would like to pin ‘flippable’ inspiration on this board, please send us an email at francessuzanne2{at}gmail{dot}com to request permission to pin.

The sew-along will begin on Wednesday, November 6 and remain open until Thursday, November 21 at 11:00 PM CST.

I’ve already got this pattern, yay! I’d love to win, even though I already have several of her patterns. The Hattie Button up tank was my first PDF ever & I’ve been hooked every since:)
So I’ve cut my first hoodie- I’m making one for each of my nephews!
