September “Flip this Pattern”: WINNERS ANNOUNCED

“Flip this Pattern, Month Four” is in the books…..and we can’t believe how the year is flying by!
Three fantastic guest contributors {Ajaire, Shannon, and Sally} and a multitude of sew-along creations whet our appetites for the endless possibilities for sewing the Pattern Anthology, Alphabet Collection.
This was our ‘MYSTERY MONTH': One that highlighted four pattern designers,
housed under the name of Pattern Anthology.

How about all that inspiration popping up in the blogging community!?!
Is it just us or is anyone else’s sewing list getting longer by the minute??
Our dad is thoroughly enjoying his ‘monthly moment of fame’ as he selects his “Fantastic Five” of the month {judging the amazing sew-along entries for the month}:

Mama Says Sew  |  Dandelion Drift
Zafarani  |  Sew 4 Girls  |  Sutures and Sandpaper

“Father’s Fantastic Five” was in no way associated to the actual sew-along judging; however, these ladies have the glory of being one of our dad’s favorites! Ladies, feel free to display the “Father’s Fantastic Five” sidebar button proudly on your site….well done!!
As for the other winners?!?! Participating bloggers in the sew-along entries didn’t make it easy for the judges!!  After much deliberation, a winner emerged from the creative designs showcased…
We asked our panel of judges to judge these entries based on the following factors:
Creativity / Originality of Design
Quality of the garment sewn
Wearability
Overall appeal of the outfit
*Many participants included tutorials for their “flip,” but again – this wasn’t a prerequisite for entering. VERY HELPFUL {and generous of them}, but not a necessity!
The sew-along winner was Carin of ArtBella with her Zipper GALORE entry.

The judges stated:

*I love the whole outfit!  The creative addition of zippers on the vest, the perfect colour-blocking, and the elastic on the pants look so comfortable.
*Looks impeccably made…great job!
“Wow! I was truly impressed with the amount of details that she managed to incorporate in the flipped pieces.
*The color-blocked recess raglan is my favorite, but I’m in awe with the pants. Great work!”
Congratulations, Carin! Grab your button, and display it proudly on your site! You will be receiving a fabulous prize package from our terrific sponsors…

$25 Pink Chalk Fabrics gift certificate
AND two yards of Birch Fabrics….

And, for the viewers’ choice award? Shannon’s FLIP of her Boy’s Structured Jacket came out on top as the winner. Congrats, Shannon! Here is the viewers’ choice button to proudly display on your sidebar as well.

You will be receiving a $20 Fabricworm gift certificate…
as well as a $25 Zip-It gift certificate…

A hearty congratulations to both winners!!  Visit both of them today {here and here} to give them some virtual pats on the back, as well as check out other items on their blogs that interest you!
Sad that it is over? There is absolutely, positively no need to be! We’re only 1/3 of the way through the series.  And, for you non-mathematicians, that’s only 33.3333% of awesomeness said and done!
