“Flip this Pattern” with Figgy’s Studio {discount code included}

October’s pattern company is one we’ve admired from afar for too, too long! So, what better opportunity than to throw Shelly of Figgy’s Patterns in the “pattern flipping mix” than through designating one of her patterns as the “Flip this Pattern” for October???

But, which pattern to choose?? We had previously purchased two Figgy’s patterns
{after seeing some fabulous creations made by other bloggers}.
The Zephyr Dress / Romper…

Seriously…who wouldn’t want this pattern after seeing
these lovely creations by Charm Stitch and Rowan & Oak??
{photo and garment by: Charm Stitch}

{photo and garment by: Rowan & Oak}
and The Ayashe Blouse pattern…
Check out these fantastic inspirational pieces showcased by
Probably Actually and LBG Studio?? Each…perfection.

But there was another pattern that caught our eye: The Sunki Dress, Tunic, and Leggings.

A pattern we needed…. Ohhhh, the lines of this pattern screamed to us.
Simply perfection!

So, for the month of October, we are asking our readers to “FLIP” the Figgy’s Studio, Sunki Pattern.
This garment is another ‘blank slate’ for the “sewing artiste”, yet we like it so much ‘as is’….we may have difficulty flipping it! Of course, we’re sure your creative minds will blow us away once again!!
We’ve never sewn a Figgy’s pattern, but hope the Sunki will be the first of many creations made using Shelly’s patterns. How much will we flip it?? That’s still up for discussion….

And, since we’re sure you haven’t taken the time to check the available Thursdays for the month of October…..we want to be the first to tell you that there are FOUR!! Translation: there will be FOUR GUEST CONTRIBUTORS for the month of October. Brace yourself!! Four uberly talented ladies, ready to “WOW YOU” with their ‘flipped creations.’

Who are the contributors? Come back next Tuesday for their introductions!!
*******************************************************************

Also, Shelly is providing a 10% discount code {FLIPIT} from now until next Wednesday October 2nd {when the sew-along opens} on any pattern in her shop. So, go and purchase yours today….we plan to take advantage of the discount!! Are you ready to be inspired?!?!

*******************************************************************

And, if you need a little help in getting those creative juices going, you might want to visit the “Flip this Pattern” Pinterest Board as you look for inspiration to strike. *Please note: if you would like to pin ‘flippable’ inspiration on this board, please send us an email at francessuzanne2{at}gmail{dot}com to request permission to pin.

The sew-along will begin on Wednesday, October 2 and remain open until Thursday, October 24 at 11:00 PM CST.

This is so fun, I love these patterns! I hadn’t heard of this shop before and it’s so sweet! I just tried to purchase a pattern for the Ayashe blouse and the discount code doesn’t work? Any thoughts?

I’ve made my first one already. I can’t wait to share it. I just need my little miss to be well enough for some photos.
