Footloose and Fancy FREE {pattern that is…}

Who doesn’t love a free pattern? What about a “quick sew” pattern? How about one that is great for a boy or a girl? Or even perfect for a baby shower gift?
Well, here’s a pattern that is all of this wrapped into one and more! The possibilities with this pattern are endless, and the best thing is it is FREE!

Did you say…..FREE???

WHOA BACK!
This precious sunsuit pattern, Timmy and Mary, is brought to you by Lisa at Mommy’s Apron Strings {with a bit of collaboration in the digitizing field from us}.

Our first collaboration with Lisa involved a FREE bonnet pattern, and she decided to entrust us in playing with her pattern pieces again! Exciting times….but….it gets better. This pattern is available in FOUR different sizes with TWO options for sewing (lined or bias bound).

Not only did we format the instructions and digitize the pattern pieces, we got a bit of a bonus too! Lisa asked us to pattern test, but as easy as this pattern is, there was no way we could get it done within the set time frame. So, she simply sewed the 12 month version and mailed it to us! It was as though we had won the sewing lottery :) – because ‘sadly’, she didn’t know someone nearby that could model it for sizing. Sadly, for her that is, but wondrous for us! Besides, if you have followed us for any length of time, you know we LOVE white!

CL is wearing the bias bound option of this pattern which will be absolutely perfect for the hot and humid summer we are gearing up for in the South!

Speaking of other options, I encourage you to take the time to check out Sarah’s version {the gregarious life} of the sunsuit where she changed things up a bit! After you check it out, you’ll see why she’s a girl after our own hearts – LOVE it! Also, be sure to check out one of Lisa’s versions where she added a bit of machine embroidery, which she is also offering {you guessed it} for FREE!
So what are you waiting for?
Head on over there and get your free vintage sunsuit pattern, Timmy and Mary, from Mommy’s Apron Strings today and remember it is always polite to give her a big virtual ‘thank you’ or a round of applause….
And, we’ll see you here in a few days, because….
Someone is outta’ here…..
