I’m not even sure how to tell you how much I love these dresses. You two have fantastic taste and style!
As usual I ADORE these dresses. It really is all in the details and worth every french knot. Great job on that zipper too!
Hurray! That is most definitely your style! as soon as I saw the little picture, I knew it was yours. I love the colors, embroidery, and piping. Way to go Aunties!
with love
Jo
Impeccably beautiful as always…I so love your work! Can’t wait to see the little models with them on! Now off to finish my post. I didn’t quite make it beside you tonight:)
Your outfits are always so stunning! I agree with Jo and knew it was yours the moment I saw the picture! 😀
You definitely have a signature style. I also knew which entry was yours just from the tiny photo in the linky party. Beautiful job, as always!
Beautiful outfits!! You sew with all the details and style I love. Your, details make the garments shine and take them to another level!!
Love it!
These are definitely your signature style! Love both dresses and, as usual, it’s those special details take make them a garment so unique (although 2,682 straight stitches, and 369 French knots can’t be labelled as “easy sewing”, lol).
Can’t wait to see the action shots with the nieces!
xx, Ana Sofia
These are wonderful and definitely showcase your ‘style’! I love all the embroidery and that you used a charming vintage pattern. I look forward to seeing the little dresses modeled!
Thank you for the embroidery guide, terribly sweet!
They are amazing! I love the vintage look and the doble piping.
Ah! I sew for years and zippers have always been my nightmare!
WOW!! This is my first time visiting you blog and I’m in awe over your creations! Absolutely stunnings. I also did a vintage look for PR&P this week- if only I had your skill!
Oh my gosh, another winner!! These are just exquisite (as usual). I love the seafoam one so much. I love how you take a pattern that I wouldn’t have given a second look and make it just perfect! Off to find a S6766 to add to my stash! I look forward to seeing these on your adorable nieces, too!
Gorgeous! That embroidery is just beautiful. The details are all wonderful.
I love how I can scan through a huge list of pictures and KNOW which one is yours instantly!!! Great detailing as always… you continue to blow me away every time.
I like your style Momma! I recently found a boat load of vintage patterns at a yard sale, i can’t wait to sew something up for my ella grace.
Ohhhh, we would have been drooling over a find like that!!! Yea for great finds!!!
Those dresses are lovely. We have had a snowy week here in Germany, so those snowflakes seem just perfect. ~Major Moma
Oh, and I forgot to suggest that you use an invisible zipper foot. It makes an invisible zipper so easy!
Yes!! We can see how a zipper foot would be extremely helpful…. It is on our ‘to buy’ list now :)!
I love your use of piping and embroidery. You create the sweetest little dresses.
Love the double piping. Great job with your first zipper. My first (and ahem only) invisible zipper is not quite invisible either.
Love both outfits! Love the minty color. And of course all the little details are perfect. I would never have the patience to do so much embroidery.
Amazing!
Very signature, ladies
Great work…all that embroidery is so impressive–Have you watched a lot of great movies as you sew???
Unfortunately no!!! Embroidery takes our complete concentration….we obviously aren’t the greatest multi-taskers!!
This is incredible! I love both the dresses, PLUS the embroidery? I’m so in awe of these. Such a neat and classic look!
Lovely! I love the piping… and I was surprised and impressed to find that all of those snowflakes are hand embroidered! Love the French knots, piping, and pleats on EA’s dress. =)
Simply adorable! I am a sucker for peter pan collars and piping!
Beautiful as usual. I love the pleats and the color. Even though you didn’t get to have your model, I can just imagine how sweet it will be on her. She is lucky to have 2 such dedicated aunts as you. You make me want to learn french knots and hand embroidery. It’s such a great way to take a simple fabric and make it beautiful. Whenever I first see your work I always think it is the fabric, but I’m always surprised by your hand stitching. Great job!

You ladies are amazing! I would love to see a video tutorial of some embroidery, I have such a hard time understanding it from books!
Maybe we should have titled this post: “Signature Style Rut”…. or, “Guess Who??” Thanks for all those sweet comments, and reaffirming this is indeed our ‘signature style!’ Now, who’s counting down to season 7??
